The Avaya J179 is a high performing IP phone with an advanced feature set for everyday communications.
Key features include a large colour display with 4 soft keys and 8 programmable LED keys.
High definition Wideband audio is supported in handset, headset and speakerphone modes.
Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports provide fast network connections and integrated PoE eliminates the need for an AC adaptor (AC adaptor sold separately).
The Avaya J179 supports the Avaya J100 Wireless module for Wi-Fi and/or Bluetooth headsets and up to three 24-button expansion modules.
The Avaya J179 also supports up to three of either the JBM 24 key expansion modules or the JEM 24 button modules and is an ideal solution for professionals, sales staff, account managers, call centres and knowledge workers. The Avaya J179 can power up to 2 Add on modules if using PoE. A PSU (sold separately) must be used to power up all 3 Add on modules.

The Avaya J179 is a Proprietary IP telephone which requires a Proprietary VoIP telephone system to operate. This phone is not suitable for home use.
This is a Power Over Ethernet (PoE) enabled device and, as such, is sold without a PSU.
If you do not have PoE, you will need to purchase a separate Power Supply Unit.
